As a business head at Oleochemical company (1997-2008) - Developed Specific product/applications for additives for paints, Plasticizers, Lubricating greases & Perfumery. Responsibilities included Production, Marketing, Sales, Distribution and Developed Business in Russia, Turkey, Greece, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, UK, Central and Eastern Europe, USA, Far East, Middle East, China, S. Africa by personally visiting and appointing Agents Distributers. Developed exclusive products to Exxon, Shell and Elf Total Fina, Lubrizol based on their application demands.

Educational qualifications as Engineer with unique distinction of pioneering Biodiesel in the country during year 2003. Leading the team of Engineers Scientists for developing continuous cracking of esters of fatty acids finding applications into perfumery and high end lubricants.

Instrumental in getting excise duty exemption on biodiesel during the budget of 2007, waver of duty on blended biofuels to the extent of 20% during the union budget of 2008, play key role in getting marketing and retail sales of Biodiesel in 2015, excise duty waver for the inputs of biodiesel and zero import duty on feed stocks of biodiesel 2015-17.

Played key role in getting 5% biodiesel blending mandate by Indian railways during the budget of 2014. Major role in the formulation of the RUCO initiative led by the FSSAI, under the ministry of health and family welfare, Government of India 2017.

Key inputs on the Biodiesel implementation committee report dated January 2010 under the directive of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India and in Coordination with the OMC like IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, RIL and Biodiesel Manufacturers of the country.

Member State Level Coordination Committee for implementation of Bio Energy in the State of U.P and similar role in the state of Rajashtan.

Coordination views of the industry and providing the inputs for the national Biofuels policy announced by the MNRE during December 2009 and MoP&NG; during June 2018.

Special invite at the Planning commission of India during the 2007-8 to draft the first policy document under the chairmanship of Dr. Kirit Parikh then Member (Energy) Planning commission of India.

Have the unique distinction for commercializing biodiesel in the Country since 2003 and supplied to Indian Railways, IOCL in the year 2004. Conducted successful trials with HSRTC and IOCL during 2004-5. Some of the major customers were ONGC and GSTRC.
